Kicking off the Weekend
My trial version of Silver Efex Pro ran out a few days ago. So today’s photo will be in color. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it.
Am I going to buy it? Yeah. I’m just having a debate with myself whether I should drop $199 for the plugin alone, or dish out a bit more and get the $299 bundle, that includes other plugins. I’ve never used any of them so I dont know if I’m going to find them useful…

Well it’s finally friday. I’m looking forward to this weekend where I’ll get caught up on the photo backlog I’ve got here, and actually go out and shoot some new ones. My spanking-new 5D Mark II is sitting on my dresser and it’s going like “baby.. you spent so much on me. you hardly play with me!?”

haha – Im trying to remember where I saw something similar to that program. Something sold by Alien Skin? It had an advertisement w one photo and then you could see all the different “film-like” examples – is that similar to the Silver Efex Pro?

yeah, its like that in a sense. there are many “presets” you can use, and you can also twiddle with different film types to see what you like so far..
