Thoughts of Bishop

Well, it didn’t take very long, did it.

Yesterday I was on the phone with Northern Inyo Hospital clearing up some billing questions regarding my ER visit, and after I hung up, I started thinking about Bishop.

I miss that place.  I really do.  I started playing with dates on my calendar.  Most of my major commitments clear up after October, and then its a blank slate after November.   I started to kick around the idea of maybe returning to Bishop in November and staying through the winter, then return to San Francisco in the spring.

We shall see. :)

My New Wheels

Since the deal on the C’dale Capo fell through last week, I resumed my search for a new set of wheels I could use to pedal around this great City.   I finally found one and brought her home.  It’s a nice 59cm IRO Mark V fixed-gear setup with a single front brake.  (Because in spite of what the hardcore riders say, I’d like a brake just in case, thank you very much).

Amelia, One Day Old

When I was stopped over in Minneapolis for my brother’s wedding, I got a request for a photo shoot that I’d never done before.  This couple wanted me to come in and photograph their baby and the family immediately after the baby was born.  I thought that was an fantastic idea and said I’d totally be up for it!

So after a few weeks of waiting and a few false alarms, I was finally called in to come and take pictures of Amelia.  I truly have to say that Amelia is one of the cutest babies I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting!  And the opportunity to photograph Amelia and her family who clearly adores her left me with a fuzzy warm feeling all day long.  The family agreed to let me post up some of her pictures here on the blog…
