70-200_002.jpg

Having spent the last 48 hours with the Canon EF 70-200 2.8 L IS mounted to my 5D, I’ve started going through the first batch of photos.

What immediately struck me at the start was the bokeh. This lens delivers some of the best bokeh I’ve ever seen, just creamy smooth bokeh that melts away the background like watercolors. And the color, contrast is rather incredible, I would even go as far to say that it rivals the 35mm 1.4L – which I consider the benchmark lens for color and contrast.
