a marathon is something that I&#039;m sure I&#039;ll end up doing before I die, but not right now.

one thing that made a big difference for me was getting a heart rate monitor.  figuring out what your target HR is for the run and then trying to stay in it.  When I started, I was trying to go way faster than I could and I could never finish, but as it turns out I was at near my max HR.  When I ramped it down to stay in the target, I found I could go longer.</description>
